- \n1.\tUnit Name : Emergency Department.\n2.\tBrief Unit Description : 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area. \n3.\tYears of Experience Required : 2 years Emergency Nursing experience. \n4.\tSkill Sets Required : General ED nursing skills including but not limited to : Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.\n5.\tClinician to Patient Ratio : 1 : 4.\n6.\tPatient Population : All. \n7.\tBed Count : 65.\n8.\tCensus : 230 visits / day.\n9.\tEMR (Charting System) : EPIC ASAP.\n10.\tFloating Required : Yes.\n11.\tRotating Shifts Required : Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency : Low. Night position does not rotate.\n12.\tCertifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).\n13.\tAdditional Information : TNCC strongly preferred.
