Power Electronics Engineer

Job Description

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related discipline
• 15+ years of experience in power electronics, with a focus on inverter and motor control systems
• Proven experience in steering system applications or other safety-critical automotive domains
• Strong understanding of motor control theory (FOC, torque / speed control, sensor less techniques)
• Expertise in system architecture and embedded software design for real-time control systems
• In-depth knowledge of functional safety standards and implementation practices
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and diagnostic tools
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB / Simulink, Labview, etc.)
• Experience with steering actuators and electromechanical systems
• Knowledge of EMI / EMC design considerations and thermal management in power electronics
