About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) specializing in Obstetrics / Gynecology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California. Starting on 08 / 18 / 2025, this position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary and women's health care, including patient exams, diagnoses, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include thorough documentation, patient education, care coordination, and collaboration with the healthcare team. This role emphasizes holistic, preventive, and culturally sensitive care in a multi-specialty clinic setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and review test results
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Provide holistic, preventive, and culturally sensitive care
• Document patient encounters using EMR templates within 72 hours
• Educate patients on care plans, medications, and lifestyle changes
• Coordinate follow-up resources and referrals
• Participate in clinical huddles and collaborate with the care team
• Consult with physicians when appropriate
• Advocate for access to care and use of community resources
• Set and monitor patient self-management plans
• Engage ancillary health team members in patient management
• Ensure continuous, coordinated, and community-focused care
