We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our financial operations, providing critical accounting support that helps drive our business forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial tasks, including account reconciliation, cost accounting, financial accounting, general ledger, and accounts payable & receivable.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

2. Perform account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external auditing procedures.

3. Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.

4. Implement cost accounting practices and provide detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting systems.

5. Analyze and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income and loss statements, and tax returns.

6. Collaborate with the finance team to complete the annual audit process.

7. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

8. Review and process expense reports and control business costs.

9. Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances to the management.

10. Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a positive learning environment and providing insight into the accounting process.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

3. Proven experience with account reconciliation, cost accounting, financial accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

4. Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

5. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

6. Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.

7. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.

8. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.

9. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
