Key Responsibilities :

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify functional limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.

2. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and techniques to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, strength, and endurance.

3. Provide therapy sessions to individuals or groups, targeting specific areas such as fine motor skills, self-care activities, sensory integration, and cognitive abilities.

4. Design and implement adaptive equipment and assistive devices, recommending modifications to home or work environments to promote independence and safety.

5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

6. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

7. Educate patients, caregivers, and community members on occupational therapy techniques, prevention strategies, and techniques for managing daily life activities.

8. Stay updated on the latest advancements, research, and best practices in occupational therapy through professional development opportunities and continuing education.

Requirements :

Occupational therapist License (required)

BLS Certification (required)

At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational therapist
