Common Avionics Architecture System (CASS) Subject Matter Expert

Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for a Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) Subject Matter Expert . The job location is Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE), Virginia.

Scope :

Provide hardware and software subject matter expertise supporting the Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) cockpit in Army Special Operations helicopters. Responsible for system wide post deployment software support, new software development and integration, software qualification and testing requirements, and software configuration management. The position requires extensive knowledge of the aircraft systems and subsystems and the ability to work with a myriad of Government and industry teams to ensure timely software integration.

Qualifications :

• Software Integration skills
• Experience in Software Development and Embedded Software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the aviation industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
