Job descriptionProvide high-quality emergency medical care for patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions Perform rapid assessments, diagnostics, and initiate treatments as appropriate Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Document patient encounters accurately and promptly Respond to emergency situations and life-threatening cases efficiently Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards Must be licensed to practice in California Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Board certification in Emergency Medicine required Strong ER experience is essential This is an ongoing locum tenens need Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods. About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California starting Jan 5, 2026. This ongoing opportunity requires working 4-6 twelve-hour shifts per month with flexible scheduling for both days and nights (7a-7p or 7p-7a). Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong emergency room experience and possess active board certification in Emergency Medicine along with BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
