Primary Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are focused on underwriting investments and supporting growth and development of DAE's private markets platform.Investment activities include :Origination : Support efforts for origination for funds, co-investment, and secondary opportunities for US and European private markets
Investment : Support due diligence of private equity and real asset opportunities; primary funds, direct investments (either via direct co-investment or single asset secondary investment) sponsored by private market managers, including emerging managers and independent sponsorsMonitoring : Post-investment investment monitoring. Maintain relationships with existing sponsors and market participants. Provide post-closing monitoring and valuation of investment performance and views on future expectationsCandidate will be an integral member of the DAE team and work with senior members of the investment team on the underwriting and analysis of new investmentsCandidate will have support senior team around multiple functions within the group, including client management and business development activitiesCandidate will develop a deep understanding of the DAE business and be able to articulate that knowledge internally and externallyCandidate must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment with a high degree of independence, initiative, responsibility, and accountabilityQualifications
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 1 to 7 years of private markets investment experience, including investment baking, consulting, asset management, etc.Developed corporate finance analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communications skillsA high degree of proficiency and adaptability with various Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Power Point and OutlookAbility to develop strong working relationships with high-level executives and investorsAbility and willingness to travelRequisite Skills
