Description:
Job Summary:The Hot Kitchen Production Associate is responsible for preparing, cooking, and handling food products in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures all food is cooked according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and production schedules
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, kettles, and mixers safely
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and food safety compliance
- Follow portion control and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Assist with ingredient prep, including cutting, measuring, and mixing
- Label and store food properly following FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP guidelines
- Complete production and temperature logs accurately
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements:
Qualifications:- Previous kitchen or food production experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in hot environments
- Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
