AWS / Java Developer

Job Description :

• This role involves designing, developing, and modernizing cloud-native applications using AWS and Java technologies.
• The AWS / Java Developer will collaborate closely with data modernization, product, and business teams to refactor and migrate legacy applications to the cloud, build scalable data solutions, and ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems aligned with business objectives.

Requirement / Must Have :

Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.

Experience in modernizing and migrating legacy applications to cloud environments.

Proficiency with AWS services and cloud-native application architectures.

Experience working with transactional or relational database systems.

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.

Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.

Experience :

Eight to ten years of software development experience.

Experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.

Experience working in cloud-based and distributed system environments.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define modernization strategies.

Design, develop, and test Java-based cloud-native applications and backend systems.

Utilize AWS services within application architectures.

Develop, test, debug, and deliver solutions within defined timelines using best practices.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.

Monitor application performance and optimize for cost, security, and reliability.

Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges.

Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

Work with product managers, business stakeholders, and team members to refine requirements and deliver solutions.

Should Have :

Experience with ETL tools.

Experience with data analytics or reporting tools.

Experience building or supporting data lake solutions.
