Telemetry Nurse

Job Description

The Telemetry Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching for patients and families. Effective communication of pertinent patient / family information to the healthcare team is essential. Participation in problem-solving for variances from patient goals and ensuring implementation of solutions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Utilize nursing assessments to plan and implement care.
• Document patient care and teaching effectively.
• Communicate consistently with patients, families, and health care professionals.
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals.

Schedule

This position requires working the night shift from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.
