This is a hybrid role with 50% on-site requirement in Wilmington, MA .

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

You will play a key role in shaping our cloud strategy, driving automation, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient cloud operations across our Azure environments.

Responsibilities :

Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud solutions.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, YAML, and ARM / Bicep templates.

Lead the design and implementation of CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure best practices in cloud governance and automation.

Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.

Integrate and manage configuration management tools like Chef.

Write automation scripts and tools using Python and other scripting languages.

Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.

Stay current with Azure services and industry trends to continuously improve our cloud architecture.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

Proficiency in Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI / CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar.

Experience with Docker, containers, and container orchestration platforms.

Familiarity with Chef, Ansible, or other configuration management tools.

Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
