**Position Summary:**
We are currently seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Medication Aide to join our healthcare team for the full-time 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to resident care and adherence to established policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Accurately document medication administration and report any variances or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions or reactions to medications.
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage, security, and disposal as per guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Educate residents and families about medications, potential side effects, and adherence to therapy plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain competency and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medication Aide required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work the 2nd shift schedule and cover additional shifts as needed.
