A skilled seamstress or tailor to support a busy custom alterations business, Must have extraordinary attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, high level of ownership and accountability. Must be able to sew garments with needle and thread and by machine, must have a good understanding of garment construction and deconstruction.  Must have an understanding to apply mathematics to work and be able to speak some English. Must have knowledge of garment to body measurements, knowledge of industry wide markings to indicate alterations needed, knowledge of fabric limitations, and knowledge of standard tailoring concepts, procedures and practices. Having pattern making skill is a bonus but not necessary.
