Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,759 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required License : Compact or Multi-State RN License required Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred. Description : The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Shift is 3 days per week from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM. There is a call requirement of one to two weekdays per week and one weekend every five weeks. Call during the week will start at 5 PM. Weekend call begins Saturday at 7 AM and ends Monday at 7 AM. This position may require floating to meet facility needs. Required qualifications include 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. BLS certification is mandatory. Skills required include various surgical procedures such as abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and robotic-assisted procedures. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1 : 1. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Please ensure any planned time off is included at the time of submission.
