As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling critical chemical and petrochemical locations. Your presence will be instrumental in supporting a secure environment as you conduct routine patrols, verify access permissions, and interact professionally with visitors and personnel. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, working as part of a team that values reliability, agility, and integrity. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed10 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PMSun02 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Manage access control procedures by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities.
  • Communicate and enforce site-specific policies and procedures for authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries about access policies and procedures.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats or breaches.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
