Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible for validating and verifying Oracle-based retail solutions, ensuring the integrity, scalability, and accuracy of pricing, sales, and inventory management systems. This role involves close collaboration with solution architects, developers, and business teams to ensure that system designs and integrations meet established standards and performance requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the architecture validation and testing of Oracle Retail suite modules including Retail Price Management (RPM), Retail Sales Audit (ReSA), Retail Merchandising System (RMS), and Retail Integration Bus (RIB).
  • Participate in testing the evolution and future state of enterprise sales and inventory platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure that system requirements and design specifications meet performance and quality standards.
  • Identify and document issues, defects, and risks through structured testing methodologies.
  • Perform regression, integration, and performance testing across complex environments.
  • Validate technical documentation, test cases, and end-to-end solutions for compliance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through feedback and analysis of test outcomes.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, and Visio for documentation, tracking, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Retail applications (RMS, RPM, ReSA, RIB) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in testing integrated systems using message-based, service-based, and batch processes.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
  • Strong understanding of test automation, defect tracking, and performance validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SQL-based data validation and test reporting.
