Job Summary :

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and culturally competent care to patients and families in the Labor & Delivery unit. Utilizes principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while promoting collaboration between patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while promoting collaboration between patients, families, and the healthcare team.\n\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nProvide holistic, individualized care to Labor & Delivery patients across all age groups.\n\nCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.\n\nEnsure confidentiality and compliance with all hospital policies and nursing standards.\n\nDemonstrate flexibility, professional growth, and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.\n\nCross -train and assist in NICU as required.\n\nRequirements : \n\nActive Ohio RN License or Compact License.\n\nMinimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience (3–5 years preferred).\n\nDiploma in Nursing (BSN preferred).\n\nCurrent BLS (AHA).\n\nMust be available to work one major holiday.
