Job Title : Monitor Tech / EKG Tech

Location : Jamaica, NY 11432

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Monitor Tech / EKG Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Shift & Schedule

Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM
Hours per week : 40
Hours per day : 8
Days per week : 5

Pay Rate

$25 – $27 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements

AHA BLS Certification – Required

EKG Certification – Required

Minimum 1 year of acute care experience

Must be proficient in :

Monitoring vital signs

Cardiac rhythm interpretation

Reporting abnormal findings promptly

Key Responsibilities

Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and report any changes or abnormalities

Perform EKGs as ordered

Document findings accurately in the system

Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff

Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times
