Monday-Friday (8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m.); averaging 7.5 hours per week as needed; occasional nights, weekends or holidays may be required
Job Summary :
Natural Resources and Environmental Program Assistant – Boone County (Temporary / Part-Time)
Location : Burlington, KY
There will be a high level of interaction with the general public. Duties will include
providing instruction during the Environmental Camp. Applicants should be able to
work in a team environment, be able to multi-task, and to function during a high
volume of personal interaction with clientele both in person and on the telephone.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Reliable transportation is
required. The Extension program assistant will become knowledgeable of the
Cooperative Extension Service and serve all clientele.
State law requires a national and state criminal background check and a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records as a condition of employment or involvement in this program.
Salary : $15.30 – $25.00
