Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – PCU RN Location : Wichita Falls, Texas (76301) – North Texas healthcare jobs Start Date : January 12, 2026 (Firm) End Date : April 13, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Schedule : 84 hours biweekly (alternating 36 / 48 hours), 72-hour guarantee Unit : Resource RN, PCU Float Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1700 - $1820 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse (PCU, Med Surg, or ER preferred) Active RN license (Texas or compact state) required before start date Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required for travel nursing jobs) Previous travel nursing experience required EPIC charting system experience preferred Charge nurse experience preferred Ability to float between Med Surg, PCU, and ER holding units Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Must complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance PCU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations in PCU, Med Surg, and ER holding units Float between units to support clinical staffing needs Manage patient ratios (5 : 1 days, 6 : 1 nights) Document care using Epic charting system Perform specialized nursing skills : cardiac telemetry, central line care, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, wound care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response) Participate in orientation and complete required training modules Apply now to join our healthcare team in Wichita Falls, Texas, and make a difference in patient care while enjoying all that North Texas has to offer!
