We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to support cloud modernization and enterprise architecture initiatives for a leading transportation organization. This role will drive enterprise-wide cloud standards, support technology procurement decisions, and guide cloud transformation strategies aligned with long-term business goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure, hybrid cloud architectures, cloud governance, and enterprise architecture practices. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, participate in architecture review boards, and ensure security, scalability, and performance across environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 9 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (architecture, design, implementation)
• 1 2 years experience / exposure to GCP or other cloud platforms (AWS / OCI preferred)
• 4 6 years experience in Hybrid Cloud & On-Prem infrastructure integration
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Networking, Security, and Governance
• Familiarity with FinOps principles for cloud cost optimization
• Experience working with Architecture Review Boards or enterprise governance teams
• Background in technical procurement & alignment to architecture standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or similar architecture modeling tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
