Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent functions as a working leader to coordinate the tasks, activities, supplies and equipment of locksmiths.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Must adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Installs, repairs, rebuilds and services mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices.
• Disassembles locks and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs and other parts.
• Performs required and preventive maintenance on card "swipe" locks.
• Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination.
• Cuts new or duplicate keys and key cards; generates master for key cards.
• Moves lockpick in cylinder to open door locks without keys; opens safe locks by drilling.

Prepares work schedule and payroll; processes Leave requests; maintains and submits records as appropriate.

Qualifications

High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and 1 year of casino experience or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
