Description :

The mechanic diagnoses, trouble shoots, and repairs equipment using tools. This individual makes modifications and uses good judgment in making cost and time effective repairs.

• Inspect trucks / trailers for damage
• Prioritize workload
• Order parts for shop and equipment repair
• Organize and clean shop area including restroom
• Maintain and stock tires
• Schedule oil changes according to mileage
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles including changing filters, checking and topping off fluids, etc…
• Inspect brakes and replace as needed
• Conduct vehicle repairs including but not limited to engine, drive train, electrical, belts, pumps and A / C work
• Mount / Dismount tires
• Work takes place in a shop as well as outside
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
