Job Summary

Elite Surface Infrastructure is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled talent acquisition professional with a proven track record of sourcing and attracting new clients.This role is crucial in building our high-performance team and supporting our company's growth.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday 40 hours a week, able to respond after hours and weekends. Also able to attend special after-hours events which occasionally may require longer hours.

Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview

Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to identify and capture new business opportunities in the civil construction and infrastructure sectors within Colorado and beyond.
  • Focus on bringing in new clients, while managing and expanding relationships with a select number of existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in federal agencies (DoD, DoE), land development, commercial clients, and other relevant sectors.
  • Meet annual quota goals by building a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with the estimating team to develop and submit competitive bids, and actively follow up with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with ESI's management, estimating, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of potential clients.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Travel throughout the state of Colorado to meet with clients, attend site visits, and ensure clients are satisfied with companies' performance.
  • Strong understanding of the company's services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.

  • Proven experience in Business Development.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with new / current clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Other Requirements : Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in BD / sales within the civil construction industry.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Experience with social media platforms.
