Summary of Role :
The primary purpose of this position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Wage : $26 per hour

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities :
Provide direct resident care and assist residents with in activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, communicating, ambulation, toileting, and personal hygiene.Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.Assist residents in preparing and transporting for medical tests (e.g. lab work, x-ray, therapy, dental, etc.) and activity programs.Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.Check each resident as required and / or routinely to determine that personal care needs are being met according to the plan of care and the resident's preference.Required Skills and Qualifications :
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public.Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.Must be a licensed C.N.A. If you do not have a C.N.A., you can still apply but must first obtain a C.N.A. license. Applicants who do not have a C.N.A. license can obtain a license through Platinum Career Solutions of Montana.Current TB screen.Covid 19 Vaccination.Education and Experience :
Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant or a licensed Medication Assistant in accordance with laws of this state.Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.Supervisory Responsibility :
This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory requirements.
