A school district is looking for a qualified Substitute Registered Nurse to ensure the health and safety of students in a school setting. This flexible opportunity allows experienced nurses to work per diem while contributing to student wellness.

Qualifications & Experience

New Jersey RN license (active and unrestricted)

Prior experience in school health or pediatrics a plus

Proficiency in health documentation and student care

Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies

Responsibilities

Provide health assessments and first aid to students

Administer medications in accordance with orders and policies

Document all health services provided

Monitor students with chronic health concerns

Communicate with staff and parents as needed

Flexible hours and school-day scheduling. Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.70 to $57.70. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
