We are seeking an experienced LLM Prompt Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) within a government project framework. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python , PL / SQL , and Prompt Engineering , along with a deep understanding of NLP-driven automation and specification analysis .

Job Description :

The LLM Prompt Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining LLM-based automation solutions that interpret, analyze, and transform specification documents into structured, actionable data. The LLM Prompt Engineer will use advanced NLP and AI techniques to optimize prompt logic, ensuring high accuracy and reliability across multiple use cases.

In this role, the LLM Prompt Engineer will collaborate closely with data engineers, solution architects, and business analysts to integrate AI-powered automation into the platform's existing infrastructure. The LLM Prompt Engineer will document and validate all prompt development activities, ensuring compliance with internal and government standards.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, linguistic, and technical skills, capable of translating complex specifications into efficient, automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform specification analysis by interpreting complex documentation using automated LLM tools.

Convert unstructured specification data into structured requirements leveraging NLP techniques.

Design, implement, and optimize LLM prompts for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

Configure and integrate LLM-based solutions within the organization's Platform Solutions Framework .

Conduct functional and performance testing of LLM prompts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Continuously refine and tune prompts based on iterative testing and stakeholder feedback.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align prompt logic with business requirements.

Maintain detailed documentation of prompt design, testing outcomes, and optimization strategies.

Ensure all development and deployment activities meet security and compliance standards required for government projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

3+ years of experience in LLM prompt engineering, AI / NLP, or data automation .

Strong programming skills in Python and PL / SQL .

Deep understanding of Prompt Engineering principles , model behavior, and fine-tuning techniques.

Experience working with LLM frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, or similar tools.

Familiarity with data validation , specification parsing , and document automation workflows.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required (mandatory for government compliance).

Preferred Skills :

Experience with generative AI tools and frameworks for enterprise-scale applications.

Familiarity with cloud-based AI environments (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI).

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and information security in federal settings.

Proven experience integrating LLM-driven automation in business or technical operations.
