5 Star Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning, a HVAC service provider in the Kentuckiana area, is seeking an experienced _Journeyman HVAC Installer_ to join our team. This position will begin as a

• 1099 contractor role
• and transition to a
• full-time W-2 employee position
• after a successful 90-day period.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates with HVAC service technician experience will be given special consideration.

• Key Responsibilities :
• HVAC Installation :
• Install heating, cooling, and air quality systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and electrical components.
• Testing & Diagnostics :
• Ensure all systems function properly through comprehensive testing and diagnostics.
• Customer Interaction :
• Maintain a professional and friendly rapport with clients, explaining system features and addressing any concerns.
• Code & Safety Compliance :
• Follow all relevant codes, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration :
• Work closely with colleagues to complete projects efficiently.
• Troubleshooting :
• Identify and resolve installation-related issues in a timely manner.
• Additional Responsibilities (if applicable) :
• Service & Maintenance :
• Diagnose and repair existing HVAC systems.
• Customer Support :
• Educate clients on system care and energy efficiency.
• Follow-ups :
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and system performance.
• Minimum Qualifications :
• 5+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation
• Valid Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent certification
• Clean background check
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Customer-focused and personable
• Preferred Qualifications :
• HVAC service technician experience
• NATE or other advanced certifications
• Proficiency with HVAC tools and equipment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
