Job description

Blue Current is seeking a Battery Manufacturing Technician to contribute to the production of high-energy-density, safe, and scalable battery materials. This role involves manufacturing battery components, assembling cells, and performing characterization processes to support the broader team's efforts.

Candidates with backgrounds in materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related fields are preferred. This position offers a hands-on, fast-paced work environment within a growing team that shares a commitment to transforming the energy storage industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture battery components and assemble cells.
  • Perform characterization processes to support team efforts.
  • Collaborate with product and R&D teams.
  • Work with external suppliers for scale-up of battery materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
