About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg experience required

License : Valid compact or state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Epic experience required
• Will consider Med-Surg RN experience
• Previous travel experience preferred

Description :

Rotating weeknights and weekends are required.

Rotating holidays are expected.

The traveler will be required to float to different units as needed.

Shift consists of 3x12 hours from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30.

Estimated patient ratios are 1 : 3-4.

Candidates must have experience with accessing ports, managing arterial lines, and administering blood products.

Candidates must be familiar with central line care / management, craniotomies, and managing intracranial bleeds.

Experience with isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring is necessary.

Ability to manage cardiac drips and titrate insulin drips is required.

Knowledge of seizure disorders and spinal cord injuries is essential.

Travelers must be responsive and cooperative with the credentialing process.

Candidates must have two professional references, including one from a manager or someone in a formal leadership position.

Co-worker references are not accepted.

Education must be from an accredited nursing program.

Candidates must ensure all documentation and credentialing requirements are met promptly.

Travelers must be aware of fingerprinting requirements as part of the process.
