We’re partnering with a leading high-end residential builder in Chicago’s North Shore — managing remodels, additions, and custom home projects across Lake Forest, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Evanston, and Highland Park.
They’re looking for an experienced High-End Residential Project Manager to take ownership of multiple luxury projects, delivering an exceptional client experience and managing day-to-day coordination between office, site, and homeowners.
This is an office-first role (roughly 60% office / 40% field) ideal for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and precision — and who enjoys managing high-expectation clients with professionalism and polish.
The Opportunity
You’ll oversee a portfolio of 10–15 high-end residential projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and client satisfaction across every phase.
Working closely with an on-site Field Superintendent, you’ll coordinate trades, manage budgets, and uphold the company’s reputation for white-glove service and flawless delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Manage luxury residential remodels, additions, and occasional new builds from start to finish.
- Lead all scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and trade coordination using Buildertrend (or similar) software.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing clear weekly updates and anticipating issues before they arise.
- Partner with the Field Superintendent to ensure seamless project execution, quality control, and timely closeouts.
- Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and bid reviews; maintain project documentation and daily logs.
- Balance multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing communication, organization, or client trust.
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction (remodels and additions).Direct exposure to high-end or luxury residential projects with discerning homeowners.Ability to manage 10–15 projects simultaneously while maintaining composure and attention to detail.Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and residential terminology.Confident, professional communication style — comfortable with high-net-worth clients.Proficiency with Excel and construction management software (Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar).Based within a 30–45 minute commute to the North Shore project area (Wilmette, Lake Forest, Glencoe, etc.).
