Responsibilities

Our state-of-the-art investment casting facility in La Porte, Indiana is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. Nestled halfway between South Bend and Chicago, along the shores of Lake Michigan - our facility in La Porte, Indiana supplies jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the Aerospace industry.

The role of the Financial Analyst will be to support the Plant Controller in the execution of the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordination month end closing process, and daily / weekly monthly financial reporting. Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the analysis of operational results. Prime day-to-day responsibility will be expense processing; monitor and report inventories, standard cost revisions and the operating budget will be key responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Analyze Manufacturing Inventory Cost.
• Maintain Payroll & Fringe expenses and Labor Standards.
• Maintain & Administer Site's Fixed Assets and Capital Plan.
• Internal and External reporting requirements.
• Conduct research, including in-person interviews, observation, process mapping, and surveys.
• Summarize findings and help to develop recommendations.
• Improve upon existing business processes, if necessary.
• Develop various tools to enhance productivity within the department; this could require creating spreadsheets or databases.
• Prepare user documentation and carry out user training associated with application usage, and associated business processes / practices.
