Working Leaderman (Night Shift)

Title : Working Leaderman

Location : Fourchon, LA

Job Overview : A Working Leaderman is responsible for directing his / her workforce in the successful implementation of craft-specific activities as it relates to associated shipbuilding and / or repair functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct and coordinates related craft activities.
• Develops, reviews, and maintains schedules, budgets and other essential records.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and other technical guidance documentation.
• Ensures material and labor resources necessary to accomplish tasks are readily available.
• Meets with other supervisors to coordinate craft efforts.
• Optimizes efforts to produce a high-quality work product consistent with Company standards.
• Trains and motivates the workforce to result in high levels of productivity.
• Responds to daily personnel, equipment and facility issues; develops viable solutions and remedial actions.
• Provides specific task requirements, technical and hands-on guidance to subordinates.
• Must be able to work in confined / enclosed spaces.
• Must be able to work / climb in elevations greater than 5'.
