Work Location : West Baton Rouge Parish Extension Office, 210 Turner Drive, Port Allen, LA 70767
Position Description : The 4-H Program Assistant will support the delivery and coordination of agricultural literacy initiatives within the West Baton Rouge Parish 4-H program. This includes assisting with Cloverbud programming, managing outdoor classrooms with agricultural projects (e.g., incubation and horticulture), and supporting summer camps and educational programs. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the 4-H Program Assistant may also provide general support to other Extension programs and staff as needed to ensure the success of parish-wide outreach and educational efforts.

Salary and Benefits : This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), paid hourly. Hourly rate will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position does not include retirement, health insurance, paid leave, or other benefits typically offered to full-time employees of the LSU AgCenter.
Conditions of Employment : A personal automobile and appropriate insurance coverage are required (travel allowance provided). Occasional evening and weekend work is expected.
