Operations Supervisor : Office & Field
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Operations Supervisor to manage and optimize daily operations. This role will ensure that administrative processes, scheduling, and communication flow efficiently between our office, our technicians and our customers. The Operations Supervisor will oversee staff performance, maintain workflow efficiency, and support company leadership in achieving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise office staff, monitor workload, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate technician schedules, service tickets, and project timelines using FieldEdge software
- Ensure timely processing of estimates, invoices, and customer communications via QuickBooks Online and Outlook
- Develop and maintain efficient office workflows, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and manage project documentation, permits, and compliance records
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management for parts, tools, and office supplies
- Track deadlines and follow up with staff to ensure operational priorities are met
- Collaborate with company leadership to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Review and approve timekeeping data for payroll processing
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to office staff
- Promote a collaborative, professional, and customer-focused company culture
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a service-based environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and cloud-based toolsExperience with FieldEdge, QuickBooks Online, or similar softwareStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem-solving mindset with the ability to make operational decisions quicklyExperience streamlining processes for greater efficiencyHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative workPreferred Attributes
