Job descriptionBachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Familiarity with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Understanding of medical terminology related to autism and behavioral health Data collection : Ability to collect accurate data on client behaviors during therapy sessions Crisis management : Proficiency in implementing crisis intervention techniques when necessary Social work : Understanding of social work principles and ability to apply them in therapy sessions Applied behavior analysis : Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques for behavior modification Behavior management : Skill in implementing behavior management strategies to promote positive change Medical documentation : Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation according to HIPAA regulations Special education : Familiarity with special education practices and principles for working with individuals with disabilities Working with people with autism : Experience working directly with individuals on the autism spectrum Medical terminology : Understanding of medical terms and concepts related to autism and behavioral health HIPAA : Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Vision insurance

Duties :
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client behaviors during therapy sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBA, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and behavior observations
- Follow all medical documentation procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
