Duties :
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client behaviors during therapy sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBA, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and behavior observations
- Follow all medical documentation procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferredExperience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniquesFamiliarity with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniquesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelinesUnderstanding of medical terminology related to autism and behavioral healthSkills :
