Facility Setting : LTAC ICU & Med-Surg Units

Employment Type : Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1770 - $1820

Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics

Unit Details : 12-bed ICU, 35-bed Med-Surg Unit

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or LTAC nursing experience

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Proficiency with Epic EMR (minimum 1 year)

Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Preferred : Previous charge nurse, community hospital, trauma level I / II, and LTAC experience

RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in LTAC ICU and Med-Surg units

Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; respond to emergencies

Administer medications including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and emergency drugs

Perform advanced wound care, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy care, and tube feedings

Monitor and manage central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and other advanced medical equipment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services)

Float to Med-Surg units as needed (float ratio : 1 : 5)

Complete required pre-assignment testing and training modules

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
