- Required Job Qualifications :
Johnson Construction is looking for a Project Manager with a
- MINIMUM
- OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE in Heavy-Highway Civil Construction management required.
Knowledge must include :
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and job plans
- Previous experience with Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Adobe, Trimble and Bluebeam
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with fellow employees, JCI management, sub-contractors and clients
- Current Driver’s License and insurable driving record
- Ability to perform office duties as well as be present in the field when needed
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety policies
- Experience with scheduling subcontractors, construction budgets and schedules, ordering job materials and personnel management
- Possess excellent organization and self-motivation skills
- Job Responsibilities :
- Be knowledgeable of all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish including CDOT work
- Create and maintain project budgets and schedules
- Attend meetings regarding project planning and progress
- Obtain, approve and distribute all submittals
- Identify and obtain approval for all change orders
- Manage and schedule subcontractors and vendors
- Identify and address project issues, risks and challenges
- General understanding of bidding and estimating projects
- Create pay applications for assigned projects
- Coordinate with foreman in the field to make sure the job and crew are being managed correctly and following appropriate safety measures
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Compensation :
This position offers a competitive salary starting at $120,000 depending on experience. Health insurance including vision, dental and supplemental are provided. A company vehicle, fuel and cell phone compensation will also be provided with the position. After 60 days of employment, 80 hours of vacation time and a retirement plan with employer matching is awarded.
