We are currently seeking a dedicated Automotive Porter to join our team and contribute to a positive customer experience.Job DetailsSalary: $15 to $19 per hourJob Type: Full TimeLocation: White Plains, NY 10606Position OverviewThe Automotive Porter will perform a range of duties focused on maintaining and preparing vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display. This role requires interaction with various departments including Product Specialist, Service and Sales Managers, support staff, and customers. The ultimate goal is to ensure complete customer satisfaction upon vehicle delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the company’s Vision and Mission by leading self and assisting team members effectivelyRemove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before customer deliveryInspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damage; report any issues immediatelyClean the interior and exterior of new and used vehiclesMaintain neat and orderly vehicle lot, moving vehicles according to dealership display standardsTransport vehicles to and from storage areas as requiredTest batteries of customer vehicles in the service areaAssist with building and grounds maintenance when necessarySupport shop cleanup and manage deliveries as neededWork HoursThis is a full-time position with standard work hours. Job Requirement:Qualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with ability to operate automobiles, including manual transmission vehiclesExperience operating machinery safelyStrong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with team membersAbility to perform physical tasks required to inspect, clean, and move vehiclesAuthorization to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment tests including background check, motor vehicle report, drug screening, and credit report
