The Enterprise Services HR Business Partner team seeks a strategic HR partner to senior leaders who enable game-changing business results by providing programs and solutions that unleash greatness in our associates. This individual must be comfortable working in a matrix environment to lead initiatives and broaden experience while being agile in deepening business knowledge in vertical functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within ES and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs and broader ES organization.
  • Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work).
  • Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross-pollination, collaboration, and high performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or military experience.
  • At least 6 years of client-facing experience OR at least 6 years of consulting experience OR a combination.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Masters degree.
  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification.
  • 8+ years of client-facing experience or 8+ years of consulting experience or a combination.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.
  • At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

    The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

    McLean, VA : $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner

    Richmond, VA : $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner.

    Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

    This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
