Emergency Room RN – Travel Assignment\nLocation : Fort Wayne, Indiana\nUnit : Emergency Department\nBed Count : 43\nAverage Daily Census : ~165 patients\nPatient Population : General medical emergencies, trauma, behavioral health\n\nGeneral Job Duties / Responsibilities\nEmergency care nursing for a wide variety of medical complaints\n\nCollaborate with Fort Wayne PD and Parkview Behavioral Health for patients with mental health needs\n\nCare provided in both general ER and enclosed Behavioral Health Unit\n\nTeam-based, collaborative nursing model\n\nTrauma exposure : moderate\n\nParticipate in ongoing renovations and facility improvements\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMinimum Experience : 2 years in Emergency Room (ER) nursing\n\nTravel Experience : Preferred – please list ER travel years in submission comments\n\nCharting System : EPIC (REQUIRED)\n\nCertifications & Licensure (Required)\nIndiana RN License (active)\n\nBLS – AHA only\n\nACLS – AHA only\n\nPALS – AHA only\n\nTNCC\n\nSchedule & Shift Info\nShift Options : All shifts possible (Days, Evenings, Nights – dependent on need)\n\nNurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 4\n\nFloating : No floating to other units or departments\n\nOrientation\nWeek 1 : Monday–Friday (8-hour days)\n\nWeek 2 : Monday–Tuesday (8-hour days)\n\nMandatory attendance required for all 7 days\n\nDress Code\nScrubs : Caribbean Blue\n\n
