Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS certification, 2+ years of experience, and Epic proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based cardiology / echo unit
  • Assignment is 13 weeks with 5x8 hour day shifts, 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM, including occasional 8 : 30 AM starts
  • Rotating weekends required, one weekend every four weeks
  • Will be required to float to affiliated facilities as needed
  • Procedures include 3D strain imaging, TEE, stress echo, and Endo TE
  • Uses GE and / or Philips equipment
  • EMR is Epic and experience is required
  • Must be prepared to pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance with two attempts allowed
  • Education verification must be through a third party and not from institutions on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list
  • Rotating weekend coverage and willingness to float are required
  • All required modules are completed during orientation and are not billable
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • RTO must be provided at time of consideration; additional RTO after submission will not be accepted

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an echo tech / cardiac sonographer
  • Current ARDMS RDCS (AE) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with GE or Philips ultrasound equipment required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures such as 3D strain imaging, TEE, and stress echo
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
