Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Nursing Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM or 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520 - $2700

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Proficiency in LDRP model : Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care

BLS certification (AHA required)

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in a 21-room Birthing Pavilion

Support a diverse patient population with approximately 1,300 annual deliveries

Adhere to AWHONN staffing guidelines and maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios

Monitor and manage patients receiving high-risk medications (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin drips)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
