Job Summary
Our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a CNC Programmer to support precision prismatic machining operations. This role combines hands-on CNC programming, process development, and shop-floor troubleshooting to support advanced aerospace component production.
You'll work directly with complex milled parts, optimizing machining strategies and driving continuous improvement in a high-performance production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC milling processes
- Create detailed NC programs and operation sheets
- Define tooling, gauging, and machine requirements
- Troubleshoot shop-floor machining issues
- Review engineering drawings for manufacturability
- Assist with prove-outs and program validation
- Estimate machining time and tooling costs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers
