Raytheon is seeking a Software Engineer to support advanced defense programs at our Fort Wayne, Indiana site. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on embedded Linux software development, C++ programming, and CI / CD pipeline automation supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. The engineer will work across embedded platforms, software architecture layers, and DevSecOps infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software for : Embedded Linux and real-time environmentsMiddleware and system architecture layers
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and YAML-based automation
• Support automated builds, static code analysis, and secure software delivery
• Work within containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Debug and troubleshoot : Your own softwareShared codebases across multiple engineering teams
• Participate in : Code reviewsContinuous integration improvementsDevSecOps and secure coding initiatives
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and system-level integration efforts
• Document designs, testing, pipeline configuration, and troubleshooting procedures

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
