Senior Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and manage MySQL databases hosted on AWS RDS and Aurora

Improve existing database systems and architecture while modernizing the data tier on AWS

Collaborate with application development and BI teams to maintain and optimize data architecture

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience designing, configuring, and managing MySQL databases on AWS RDS and Aurora

5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and query tuning

Experience utilizing AWS CLI for infrastructure tasks

Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience

Hands-on experience with Bash / Python scripting
