Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location. Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any unusual occurrences. Assist with emergency response activities as directed, communicating promptly with appropriate personnel and / or authorities. Support the overall security-related operations of the location by remaining alert and attentive to potential risks or suspicious activity. Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the front desk, providing information and assistance as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Front Desk - Full Time
As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting with security-related matters. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence and supporting access control procedures, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Mon 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
Wed 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
Fri 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
