• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.\n
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.\n
• Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.\n
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.\n
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.\n
• Language Skills : Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.\n\nDepartment / Unit Summary\n
• 25 bed unit with private rooms\n
• All patients are on telemetry monitor and being monitored on the unit.\n
• 5 : 1 Patient Ratio\n
• ADT Charge Nurse- assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.\n
• Team nursing model consisting of 2 RN's and 5 LPN\n
• Fast-paced environment and high patient turnover.\n
