Key Responsibilities :
- Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Support the accounting team with payroll processing, tax preparation, and audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments
Qualifications :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing one)0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count!)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Skills (Not Required) :
Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting systemsBasic knowledge of GAAP principlesFamiliarity with payroll or tax filing processesSchedule & Pay
